Using RSS you have a practical solution which consists of a laser scanner, easy to mount, lightweight and more effective than the old multi-foot-ski.

The RSS system:

* Is compatible to existing levelling equipment;
* Without any contact, no sticking of emulsion;
* Can also be used on soft ground;
* Can be used inside working area of the machine as well as outside;

* Insensitive for wear and tear.

* Easy to mount from 2 up to 2,5 meter above the road at the towing arm
* No hinder during operation;
* The reference value is based on a large area in stead of a single point.
* The laser scanner ‘looks’ over an adjustable length alongside the machine and calculates a striding average.
* Large 'strange' objects like people will be filtered out of the scanning area;
* The trim bar of the machine will not be calculated in the measure;
* A clear view of the foundation: up to 140m over 12m.
* Because of the many measuring points the results of RSS is much better than a mechanichal ski with the same range.
